Felix retreat
Main characters: the junior high group from our church and their leaders...
winter, swimming outside, steam... What is the connection between all of this? The answer is Felix... a nice health resort two hours driving away from Cluj. It's a place famous for its thermal water, that's why is quite busy all year long.
A perfect location for a winter retreat! So, packed like sardines in our cars, escaped from Cluj for two days and a night. This is any teenager's dream... Once we got there we had to face the clouds of steam rising from the hot water swimming pools. No problem for us... Soon after that, we "conquered" the entire pool... nobody can relax swimming with a bunch of thirty kids fooling around. This was the day one...
After a delicious pizza dinner we spent the night trying to stay awake, while watching "Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King". Thanks God it wasn't the entire trilogy!
The next day, a similar scenario... excepting the fact that the swimming pool was already vacant. Why?
At the end of the day we were back home. This was the end of a worm winter retreat, a perfect time for strengthen our relationships, meet new people and charge our batteries for the next months.
