We need one another!
It was a sort of 20 hour famine event...
All day long on
Saturday, junior high kids spent time together doing all sorts of
games, activities, talking, having fun... everything, except eating!
Tough job for a teenager, and even more difficult because of all the excitment of a delicious dinner being prepared for them...
Then, the suprise came! They had to eat with their elbows "blocked" from bending...
That
triggered the dilema - "Do I try to feed myself, and spill all the food
on the floor, or do I feed the person in front of me and trust that
person to feed me?"
A great way to learn unity, a great way to
teach them how to rely on each other, trusting and working together for
everyone's best interest.
Enjoy!
