BIG network planning
We found the BIG (Churches With Global Impact) network in the middle of 2009 preparing for a busy end of the year. The conferences that are about to come in the fall requires a lot of teamwork and planning ahead. This month, we organized a planning session at our church in Cluj-Napoca. The youth department of BIG gathered together for two days to develop a national strategy and to select 12 key people around the country who will implement this strategy in the field. BIG is already a well known organization in Romania, because it represents one of the biggest resource for pastors, youth ministries, camps etc.
Key leaders from different regions of Romania, different denominations united their efforts to build and run this huge resource. After years of experience, regional and national conferences, trainings... it is time to refresh the strategy, to evaluate the past and try to continue being relevant for the future generation of leaders and pastors. Hundreds of leaders in Romania were equipped by BIG's ministry so they established healthy youth ministries in their local churches.That was the beginning. Then, they started to work in a team, alongside with their pastor, which was very rare in our country. BIG set the base in the last years, so the future is more about keeping the pace and standards, offering quality resources, consultancy, coaching... at a more personal level.
