Vision: To get to see our young people faithful, even when facing death, to receive the crown of life
Considerations:
College is another world. Students' faith is under attack. From the moment students set foot on the contemporary campus their Christian convictions and discipline are assaulted. „Faith is just a crutch", „Bible is just mythology", „Christianity is judg emental and intolerant", „Morality is different everywhere", „Everyone must find his own truth" they hear from colleagues and professors.
Once upon a time, colleges and universities regarded themselves as standing in loco parentis, „in the place of parents". That time is gone. Students are forced to take responsibiliity for their own behavior.
College means leaving many people behind and going into a world of strangers. That's why aloneness is an issue for our young people and somehow everyone is affected by it. College is full of social opportunities and most students are more ready to form friendships than at any other time in their lives.
Mission Statement:
Our ministry is to tell young people about Christ, to warn them and teach them, with all the wisdom God has given us, for we want to present them to God, perfect in their relationship with Christ, depending on Christ's mighty power that works within us.
Objectives:
1. To help them renew their minds by knowing God through Bible study, worship and prayer.
2. To help them putting in practice their Christian convictions
3. To offer them an environment where they can build healthy and significant relationships, to integrate the students who are coming from other parts of Romania, giving them the chance to consider one another to stir up love and good works.
4. To encourage them to get involved in church's life and ministry
5. To encourage them to fulfill their mission - spreading the Good News - among their peers.
6. To create a platform for training and equipping some of them as leaders.
Methods:
weekly large group meetings, small groups, special events, camps and retreats, training conferences for the students with leadership potential
