Feed the students!
Several times a year we ask people in our church to prepare some great food to treat our guests. Who are these guests anyway? Well, some of them are from our church, but many others are coming from different other cities. They are college students coming from all over the country, and for about 4 years they will be our special guests. They are attracted like a magnet by our local Universities, but in the same time they have to face the big city. All its temptations and life style. For some of them this can be fatal. That's why, a few years ago, God lead us into this ministry. It's growing ever since, and generations of college students are finding a shelter, a family where to grow. It's something that keeps them together, give them significance and the feeling that they are not alone.
Some of them are also involved in the ministry as volunteers. We are very thankful and this lunch at the church is an opportunity to serve them and make them feel special. They are coming in large number, almost 200 every week. Here you can find more photos from the event... by the way, the food was delicious!
