Get a life!
1st of December is the national day of Romania. Festivities are taking place all over the country. The key city for that is Alba Iulia, the place where in 1918 Romania got back Transylvania, forming what today is known to be Romania. Among all the state related festivities, our churches there are organizing (that's already a tradition) youth evangelistic crusades and discipleship conferences, all of that with direct applications on our responsibilities towards our country.
Well, there we were present, too. We were invited to speak at one of the organizing churches. Over 300 young people were there and we hope they've got the message: Christ's life is the only life worth living.
Is the life of Christ worth living? That's the ongoing question of a lifetime. Some people conclude, quite simply, no. Christ's life - at least their understanding of it - is a drag. They are wrong. To view Christ's life as boring is to be badly misinformed. Anyone suffering with "drag syndrome" hasn't got a life yet. The truth is, Christ's life is packed with challenges, risks, rewards, victories, miracles and heart gripping excitement.
We have challenged our youth to go out and share that truth. I felt there lots of energy and left the event optimistic and energized seeing the potential our country has for the future. Praise the Lord!
