Sunday School Teachers & Youth Leaders Retreat

Once a year, the Sunday School Teachers and Youth Leaders from our church (First Baptist Church - Cluj-Napoca) go out for a weekend. A time for praying and reflecting on the ministry God has given us, as well as a time for preparation. The summer is approaching very fast and activities such as VBS and Camps need a special attention.

So, one of the main goals for this end of the year (before summer) and not only, was to learn how to motivate, encourage and equip children and teenagers to “extend their wings” so to be able to “fly” by their own. We can do this by applying one very important principle from the Aircraft Industry: THE SYMMETRY. In other words, it’s about the relation between what we say and what we actually live in front of them.

Prayer Wings

Thank you again for partnering with us. We really need your prayers and it's not just a word we use to say to be polite. We can see God moving things in Romania, and I'm sure it's not by mistake. The summer is almost here and we have to plan in advance. We will have Vacation Bible School, camps, so we need His guiding and protection upon us, our families and our students. Please pray for this. I also want to bring up the aercurat (fresh-air) project we have. It's a real challenge to keep up with the thousands of people visiting the website. We also need to get more people involved and also to organize some events. For those of you who don't know about this project, here is a video we did some time ago. Since then, the things grew up and we need to bring it to the next level. God bless you!
