Valentine's Day
For more than 100 students, the so called "Valentine's Day" has been celebrated in a different way. February 14.09 another pretext for many young people to step outside the moral limits. For several years, we borrowed this so called holiday and make it our own. And by the way, we're very good as nation to take some things further than they were intended. Here you can see more pictures from the event.
We made a statement as a response to this holiday: Cupid is dead! Don't wake the Love until she comes... We tried to put God's perspective on love in His limits. Cupid, the god and the symbol of Erotism has been buried on February 14'th. So, for a full day, we "transformed" the culture, looked at it through God's eyes and here are the results: 77 students decided to make a chastity covenant in front of God and their friends. They decided to stay clean until the day they will enter in the sacred covenant of marriage. It was an spiritually overwhelming moment.
A full day, with all the ingredients: talk-shows, videoclips, drama, debates, interviews and covenants. All this with the only purpose to bring some light on the true love, the sexuality and the purity. I express all my admiration for our students who had the courage to live upside up in an upside down world.
